The Maroon Missionaries Organization Joins C-SPAN StudentCam Competition
FORT LAUDERDALE, September 30, 2008 - The Maroon Missionaries Organization's twelve founding students will be creating informational videos about Darfur and entering them into the C-SPAN StudentCam competition. Per C-SPAN StudentCam regulations, each team can only have a maximum of three members, so our founding students will be splitting up into four different groups - each creating their own videos and each putting their own creativity and enthusiasm into it! Although each student groups will create and combine their videos in different ways, they will all be inclusive of: information about the situation in Darfur, C-SPAN archive video, student "testimonials", and facts and figures about the situation in Darfur.
"I haven't seen such teamwork and determination in years! If your organization gets passionate like so over a video, I can only expect wonders from what else you've done."
More information, including past winners and rules and regulations, on the C-SPAN StudentCam competition can be found on their official StudentCam website here.
